Hi, my name is Vallari, and Tea After Three is an ode to all things food and my weird experiments and challenges in the kitchen.
The name comes from an informal custom my mom and her close friend have of meeting at each other’s place, where one shamelessly calls the other and says, "I'm in the area," or "I'll be there in 10 minutes, keep the tea/coffee ready!" They then chat, laugh, and ‘spill the tea’ endlessly until it’s time to return to their regular chores. This is the kind of approachability I want to bring you, the readers, through this newsletter created around the love for food, eating, and everything in between. This tiny space on the internet is where I want to talk to you guys and initiate interesting conversations.
